Thank You, US Bank Volunteers!

group of approx 15 US Bank volunteers at ScienceWorks

ScienceWorks extends a huge thank-you to the amazing team of volunteers from US Bank who spent the morning of July 30 lending their time, energy, and muscle to help beautify the ScienceWorks grounds.

Approximately 15 US Bank employees joined us as part of a team-building activity, working side by side with ScienceWorks staff members Liz Koonce (Exhibits and Facilities Coordinator) and Addison Carroll (Exhibits and Facilities Manager). Together, they tackled important outdoor projects in the Bear Garden, including clearing dead plants, digging up old stumps, and trimming back overgrown trees.

Their efforts made a visible difference — and not just to the landscape! Collaborative, hands-on help like this keeps ScienceWorks safe, welcoming, and inspiring for all our visitors. We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of our community partners like US Bank, whose commitment to service helps us grow (literally and figuratively).

Thank you, US Bank, for rolling up your sleeves and making a meaningful impact. We hope to see you again soon!
