Every summer, ScienceWorks is proud to host Flynn Creek Circus on our grounds for a season of unforgettable performances and hands-on circus camps. Founded in 2002, Flynn Creek Circus is an acclaimed touring circus-theater company that combines breathtaking acrobatics, live storytelling, and theatrical artistry under their iconic red and white striped Big Top.
Featuring international, award-winning performers, Flynn Creek Circus showcases all-human skill and spectacle while inspiring the next generation of artists, athletes, and dreamers. Whether you're attending a thrilling performance or learning circus skills firsthand, this annual partnership brings creativity, wonder, and laughter to audiences of all ages.

The Cricket & the Wren

The Cricket & the Wren by Flynn Creek Circus is created, directed, and choreographed by Blaze Birge, David Jones, and the Flynn Creek Circus cast.
The Cricket & the Wren is a highly original, all-human fairy tale that enchants audiences with breathtaking acrobatics and stunning displays of athletic skill.
A merchant's daughter sets out to find the castle where the horizon meets the sea. To break the spell of the Frog Prince, she must brave a harrowing journey filled with wonder.
Along the way, she encounters Jack and the Beanstalk's sassy cow, an out-of-pocket pirate, and the secret sacrifice of the cricket and the wren.
Featuring aerialists, jugglers, knife throwers, and laugh-out-loud comedy, this circus adventure blends classic storybook archetypes with imaginative new heroes. The Cricket & the Wren will surprise, dazzle, and delight audiences of all ages.
Flynn Creek Circus is an all-human production.
