We’re excited to announce that our after-school program, Teen Takeover, is back for the 2025–2026 school year. In partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley (B&GCRV), ScienceWorks is once again opening its doors to middle schoolers for afternoons filled with science, creativity, and fun.

This 100% free program is designed for students in grades 6 – 8 and runs every Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 to 5:30 PM, beginning September 8. Teens will get hands-on with STEAM activities, explore interactive exhibits, and discover new ways to engage with science. Expert staff from Boys & Girls Clubs provide guidance and support, ensuring each student feels welcome and empowered to learn.

But it’s not just about science — students will also have access to homework help in a supportive environment. And with food provided each afternoon, teens will have the energy they need to focus, learn, and connect with peers.

ScienceWorks would like to thank AllCare Health for helping to fund this program and making it possible for local youth to explore, grow, and thrive.

Spots are limited, so don’t wait! Register today through the B&GCRV website.
