Join Us for Love in Bloom — Valentine's Day activities all day on February 14


This Valentine’s Day, celebrate love, creativity, and curiosity at ScienceWorks during Love in Bloom, a full day of Valentine’s-themed activities included with museum admission or membership.


Throughout the museum, enjoy hands-on experiences designed to spark kindness, imagination, and learning — perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves science with a heartfelt twist.


What’s Happening


💌 Tinkering Studio: Valentine’s Helpers
Engineer miniature kindness-delivery robots to help transport cards, notes, or small gifts. This playful engineering challenge blends creativity, problem-solving, and a little love.

🎨 Galaxy Classroom: Stationery Workshop
Create a one-of-a-kind Valentine using bubbles, paper, and your imagination. Blow paint bubbles for colorful designs or craft a pop-up card — the choice is yours. Guests are invited to make cards that will be shared with the Ashland Senior Center, spreading kindness beyond the museum walls.

❤️ Exploration Station: Heart Pump Demonstration
Learn how your heart keeps everything moving and explore heart health in honor of American Heart Month.

🎬 Science Theater
Enjoy a free screening of
Women in STEM: Picture a Scientist, celebrating the scientists whose work shapes our world.

🥤 Food and Treats
Vintage Vibes will be onsite in the Atrium serving festive dirty sodas all day. Super Smash Burgers will be on the plaza serving food until 3 PM.


With special activities, community connections, and thoughtful ties to heart health and kindness, Love in Bloom is a joyful way to spend Valentine’s Day together.
