Calling All Sponsors: Help Us Keep Monster Ball Affordable for Local Families

Science gets spooky! At the 2024 Monster Ball, Education Manager Johnnie Snow (in full mad scientist mode) wowed the crowd with the “elephant toothpaste” experiment — a foamy, fast, and exothermic chemical reaction that decomposes hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. Meanwhile, Monster Ball Emcee James Ryen lurked ominously in the background, adding an extra dose of eerie fun to the spectacle!

At ScienceWorks, we believe that every family should have the chance to celebrate, explore, and have fun together — no matter their budget. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

Monster Ball, our annual Halloween party and community celebration, is one of our most anticipated events of the year. It’s a night full of science experiments, costumes, music, creepy crafts, and spooky surprises — all designed to ignite curiosity and imagination for kids and grownups alike.

We’re committed to keeping Monster Ball affordable and accessible, which means no extra charges for activities, and low-cost tickets for families. But hosting an event like this takes resources — and we can’t do it without support from sponsors like you.

Whether you can give $500 or $5,000, ScienceWorks would be thrilled to recognize your organization for supporting the work we do. Your sponsorship directly helps us cover the cost of materials, staffing, and setup so that families don’t have to pay more to participate.

Want to learn more? Reach out to us at sponsors@scienceworksmuseum.org and we’ll be happy to share more details.

🎃 Let’s make this Halloween unforgettable — together.
