Happy Earth Day!

What a day!

Last Saturday, April 18, ScienceWorks was thrilled to welcome our community for a vibrant Earth Day celebration filled with science, music, hands-on learning, and plenty of sunshine. With beautiful spring weather and a fantastic turnout, our outdoor campus was buzzing with families, community partners, performers, and curious learners of all ages.

Guests explored hands-on sustainability activities, connected with local organizations doing important environmental work, played our EcoQuest game, enjoyed bubble tables, visited food trucks, and took home free plants.

Throughout the day, our plaza came alive with incredible performances from the Helman and Ashland Middle School Choirs, Siskiyou Violins, Elbow Room Taiko, Rogue Valley Peace Choir, and Ruby Johnson. Thank you to these talented performers for sharing your gifts with our community.

We are deeply grateful to the many community organizations, vendors, and volunteers who helped make this event such a success. Earth Day is a reminder that caring for our planet is collective work, and we loved seeing so many local groups come together to share resources, ideas, and inspiration.

And of course, a huge thank you to our generous sponsors whose support made it possible for us to offer this event free of charge. Your investment helps make science education and community celebration accessible to all.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We loved seeing so many families learning, laughing, and connecting outdoors.

Stay curious, and happy Earth Day 🌎
