SciTalk: Your Genome and You, What You Need to Know

The age of personalized medicine and the personal genome is just about here!
Alan & Priscilla Oppenheimer
Join us at 7pm on May 19th for an introductory talk by Alan and Priscilla Oppenheimer about their foundation’s work with Harvard’s Personal Genome Project, 23andMe and other technologies that will soon make the full “text” of our DNA-based “books” available to each of us -- if we want it!

By leveraging and enhancing modern technology, the Alan and Priscilla Oppenheimer Foundation seeks to better humanity through scientific research and education in fields such as genetics, molecular biology and computer science.

Details of the Foundation’s work can be found at www.oppenheimerfoundation.org
