Both ScienceWorks and OLLI exert a vital influence on the quality of life in the Rogue Valley through their support of lifelong learning. ScienceWorks is comprised of 2,000 members and serves adults as well as children via interactive exhibits, live science shows and dynamic programs.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Southern Oregon University provides over 1,400 members with intellectually stimulating courses and social functions. Currently, there are 85-100 offerings in each of three quarters, September-June. A one-time annual fee of $125 covers all courses that a member takes during the fall, winter, and spring terms. Members may request multiple courses and will be registered in as many as class space permits. OLLI students may attend courses on both the Ashland and Medford SOU campuses.
